A very relaxing day, spent going for walks and finally some kayaking. We did a few jobs around the caravan and then I decided that it was “ok” for kayaking….not perfect but ok. Just as we had the kayak all set up and beside the lake, a rain squall came through and I backed out. Luckily after an hour or so the weather had improved and I was able to go off kayaking for a couple of hours. Our site is on the shore of one of the large lakes and the water here had been choppy for most of our stay. However by kayaking around “the corner” to the next lake I was greeted by calm and peaceful conditions. It was very enjoyable. Meanwhile Rob was busy working at the café using the parks Wi-Fi to do various jobs. We had a relaxing afternoon, visiting the bar/café for a drink and a delicious early dinner of pizza!
