We had a very peaceful night and morning at this beautiful place. The wind was up and I decided that it wasn’t quite perfect enough for kayaking. As we have no phone or internet reception on our site and we needed to start doing some bookings for the future we headed down to the office/café. We had a coffee and Rob managed to get access to the “staff” internet as the guest internet was still down. Following coffee we decided to take the ferry across the Myall River and then we drove the 25kms. down to the little villages of Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens. This was a picturesque drive magnificent coast one side and the great Two Mile Lake the other. We stopped in a couple of places to admire the beautiful scenery. Once we arrived at the small towns, we made phone calls, booked future accommodation and went for a lovely walk, visiting the wharfs, galleries and of course a bakery for lunch.
