Unfortunately the rain returned this morning. We were not in any hurry to leave Cardwell but had to be out of the park by 10am. Rob even had to put on a “Bunnings” rain poncho to do the outside jobs! JThe drive south along the Bruce Highway was at times slow due to road works, slow moving vehicles and the inclement weather. The further south we drove, the better the weather. By the time we called into the “Frosty Mango” for coffee, the sun was out and the temperature was up to 26! Our new park is only about 600mt. away from the Frosty Mango so following coffee we quickly settled into the park. We spent the afternoon doing some washing, going for a walk and relaxing. The park is a lovely, peaceful park with beautiful tropical gardens. (I’m sure we may visit the Frosty Mango again as the menu there was very comprehensive and of course they serve their famous mango ice-cream.) Our park is located 42km south of Ingham and 70km north of Townsville.
